ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Karl Planer was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, but has been an honorary Angeleno for the last twenty years. He attended Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He then returned to Chicago where he worked for one of the top accounting firms in the country. After relocating to Los Angeles, he went to work for Sony Pictures, during which time he became a Certified Public Accountant . After several years of traveling both nationally and internationally for the company as an auditor, he left to pursue his dream of owning and operating his own accounting business. He has been called upon for his expertise by various media outlets concerning both entertainment financial management and general tax planning issues.
